  1. A man was reportedly assaulted during a carjacking in Providence on Monday morning, making this the second carjacking in two days. The incident occurred near Smith Street and Young Avenue shortly after 5 a.m. on Monday. The victim told police he was assaulted with an unknown weapon and knocked unconscious. (GoLocalProv)
  2. A body was found in the Woonasquatucket River in Providence on Monday. The adult female was discovered around 11:30 a.m. near Sheridan Street in Olneyville. Police say the death is not believed to be suspicious. (The Providence Journal)
  3. A former Providence administrator is scheduled to appear in court on Monday after being accused of groping a boy’s foot at a gym. (WJAR)
