- Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred in Providence. The incident happened around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday morning near Huntington Avenue and Homestead Avenue. According to the 29-year-old victim, a man with a black ski mask pointed a gun at her and her passenger and asked them to get out of the car. (Turn to 10)
- The Brown University School of Public Health is launching an initiative to research the effects of long COVID-19. Brown University is partnering with the Warren Alpert Medical School and its affiliated hospitals, in addition to the R.I. Department of Health. The initiative will be led by Brown School of Public Health Dean Dr. Ashish Jha and Associate Dean for Strategy & Innovation Dr. Megan Ranney.(WPRI.com)
