Central Falls Probation Violator Eluded Law: Police
The Central Falls man was pulled over and arrested in Providence, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Central Falls man wanted for violating his probation and eluding the law was captured during a Saturday night traffic stop, police said.
Ambiorix Ogando-Mota, 37, was pulled over shortly before midnight on Atwells Avenue in Providence and arrested on warrants charging him with violating his probation and eluding law enforcement, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
The eluding law enforcement charge was in connection with a Portsmouth Police Department case, according to the release.

Ogando-Mota was on probation for a manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to deliver case brought by the Tiverton Police Department, the release said.
Ogando-Mota was "transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions-Men's Intake Center," the release said.
