COVID-19 Testing Kiosk Now Operating At Providence's Kennedy Plaza

The PCR tests are available thanks to a new partnership between the city and Curative, a COVID-19 testing company.

PROVIDENCE, RI — COVID-19 testing is now available right in downtown Providence at Kennedy Plaza thanks to a new partnership.

Mayor Jorge O. Elorza and Curative, a COVID-19 testing and next-generation healthcare delivery company, announced a joint partnership to provide COVID-19 testing to the general public.

Curative is now offering PCR tests for COVID-19 Monday through Friday at their new kiosk located in Kennedy Plaza.

“Curative is a trusted partner who has provided convenient and accessible COVID-19 testing to cities and towns nationwide,” said Elorza.

“Their kiosk, which will be located in the heart of the city, will be a convenient option for members of our community to get tested as we head into the fall and winter seasons.”

Costs associated with PCR testing will be billed to an individual's health insurance provider, while individuals without access to health insurance will be tested at no cost. Test results will be delivered via text message or email once the results are in.

Appointments for the testing kiosk are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
