Cranston Man Charged With DUI Following Crash In Providence: Police
The crash was on Interstate 95, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Cranston man was charged with driving under the influence following a crash in Providence, police said.
David Nicholson, 39, was arrested shortly before midnight Sunday and charged with driving Under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs and refusal to submit to a chemical test, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Nicholson was arrested by troopers responding to a crash on Interstate 95, according to the release.

"Nicholson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment/presentment as a bail violator at Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
