'Greatest Show On Earth' Coming To Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus is returning to Providence.

The circus is in town May 29 to 31 at Amica Mutual Pavilion, according to a media release.

"The latest production of the Greatest Show On Earth features 65 world-class performers for a non-stop party vibe," the release said, listing such acts as:

The Acro-Salsa Troupe of Colombia, a "seven-member group that will bring a dynamic blend of acrobatics and traditional salsa packed with passion, movement, and power."

Contortion, a "world-renowned contortionist making her Ringling debut, redefining flexibility with artful, unbelievable control."

Acrobatic Bikes & Hoop Diving of China, a "group of performers who create human pyramids on moving bicycles and perform gravity-defying acrobatics with fearless flair."

Bailey the Robo Pup, who "returns to the spotlight with endless energy, new dance moves, and her signature mix of mischief and high-tech charm."
