  1. A Providence liquor store was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday night. The suspect took between $300 to $400 from the register at Three Ring Liquors on Plainfield Street and then ran out the front door towards an alley on Rye Street. Witnesses described the man as dark-skinned and wearing a purple sweatshirt, red pants, white sneakers, a black hat and mask, and red and black gloves. (WJAR)
  2. Providence police are investigating after two separate shots were fired near Billy Taylor Park. The first shots were fired around 9:30 p.m. near Cypress Street by the park. Shortly after, police were notified of shots fired into the Providence fire station on North Main Street. (ABC6)
  3. Teachers were honored at this Saturday's WaterFire with an awards ceremony and torch procession. (WPRI.com)
  4. An accident on Sunday morning temporarily closed a portion of Manton Avenue in Providence. (GoLocalProv)
