Meg Marie O'Rourke's Show Now Syndicated

Harmony With Food Expands to New Markets

Nutrition enthusiasts and health-conscious individuals have a reason to celebrate as Registered Dietician Meg Marie O'Rourke's popular show, Harmony With Food, is now syndicated in multiple new markets. Known for her expertise in nutrition and dedication to changing the way people think about food, Meg's show will now reach a wider audience, offering valuable insights into gut health, weight loss resistance, developing a healthy relationship with food, and more.

Syndication and Expansion

Meg's journey to syndication began with a strong desire to inform and educate a broader audience. "I have always felt that I have a true calling: 'To Change The Way You Think About Food.' After over a decade of fantastic radio work in Rhode Island, I wanted to inform and educate even more people. I reached out to someone already syndicated, who guided me to another industry expert with a keen interest in health and nutrition. This individual, with years of experience, has become my mentor on this syndication journey," says Meg.

What This Expansion Means

For Meg and her team, this growth signifies more than just an increase in listenership. "This growth means more teamwork and opportunities. From a one-woman show, I have now hired five virtual assistants, providing us all with more work and the chance to impact more lives positively," Meg shares.

Impact of Syndication

The primary goal of syndication is to enhance the reach and impact of Harmony With Food. "Reaching more people has always been the goal. While I do use social media, I believe that trust in the information I provide weekly will help the show grow. I have nowhere to go but up," Meg asserts.

To engage new audiences, Meg's team is employing targeted SEO strategies and growing their social media presence. "The goal is to build a loyal following who trust and benefit from the content I provide," says Meg.

Content Creation and Audience Engagement

Despite the broader reach, Meg plans to maintain her authentic approach to content creation. "I will continue to be myself and offer the valuable service that people want and need. Conventional medicine often overlooks the topics I cover, such as nutrition, the microbiome, and food sensitivities. I want people to know there are alternative choices and the importance of being proactive about their health," she explains.

Meg plans to connect with new listeners by offering free resources through her website, including guides on gluten-free bread, micronutrients, the microbiome, and food sensitivities. "These resources help grow my email list, through which we send out weekly 'In Case You Missed It' episodes and show reminders," she notes.

Future Plans for Harmony With Food

With syndication, Meg is now doing more planning and preparing ahead of time to ensure each show is delivered flawlessly. "Since syndication, I am doing more planning and preparing ahead of time to ensure I am 110% ready for each show. Planning and preparation are key," she says.

New segments will be introduced to appeal to a wider audience, including:

  1. Pharmaceutical Pricing: If big pharma wins, you lose.
  2. Food Safety: Keep the hot foods hot and the cold foods cold. If in doubt, throw it out. Over 3,000 die annually in the United States unnecessarily from food poisoning.
  3. Science-Based Research: Sharing new and relevant studies.
  4. Case Studies: HIPPA-compliant case studies with customer reviews.

Challenges and Opportunities

Syndication brings its challenges, including potential negative feedback. However, Meg remains focused on her mission. "I have learned that putting yourself 'out there' will attract some negativity. I am not doing this to win a popularity contest; my mission is to help people with nutrition, weight loss resistance, GI issues, and more. My focus remains on this mission despite any challenges," she asserts.

Meg sees the syndication as an opportunity to make more people aware that they are in charge of their health. "Our toxic food system needs change, and in the meantime, we can all be proactive. I hope to spread this message to even more people through my show, focusing on education rather than pushing supplements," she concludes.
