Providence Child Pornography Possessor Pinched: Police
The Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested the Providence man, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with possessing child pornography, police said.
Michael Johnston, 23, was arrested Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the state police said in a media release.
"Mr. Johnston turned himself in at the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed," the release said. "He was later transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment."

Johnston's bond was set at $2,500 with surety, police said, and he was ordered to have limited internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors.
