Providence College 2022-23 Men's Basketball Schedule Released

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence Friars men's basketball program is coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history, especially in the last decade.

Coach Ed Cooley was rewarded with a new, earned contract extension, and the program welcomed transfers from big-name programs to the city.

The season begins in October with two exhibition games before the Friars take on Rider on Nov. 8 at home. Regular season play runs through March 4, and the Big East Tournament is slated to begin on March 8.

Now, with the 2022-23 schedule released, the Friars will continue to prepare for a potential Big East Championship repeat. Here's the full schedule, including rivalry matchups against Rhode Island and Connecticut:
