Providence College Hockey Schedule 2022

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College men's hockey schedule for 22 is out, and features a handful of games against NCAA tournament teams from last season.

Coming off of 22 wins last year, the Friars will face a schedule of 34 regulars season games, including nine against tournament teams.

Two exhibition games are scheduled for Oct. 1 and 2 before the home opener on Oct. 7 against Sacred Heart. Hockey East play opens on the road just over a week later against Northeastern on Oct. 15.

The Friars will face the reigning champion Denver Pioneers in Colorado on Oct. 21 and 22, returning to Denver for the first time since 2018.

This year's Mayor's Cup matchup against Brown is scheduled for Nov. 26, followed by a two-game set against Boston College on Dec. 2 and 3. A matchup with Boston University will cap off the regular season on March 3 and 4.
