Providence Food Stamp Fraud Foiled: Cops
The Providence woman fraudulently obtaining public or government assistance, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman fraudulently obtaining public or government assistance, police said.
Cheque Camacho, 34, was arrested about 3:45 p.m. Friday and charged with obtaining money by false pretenses, giving a false document to a public official, fraudulently obtaining public or government Assistance, and fraudulent use of food stamps, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Palumbo surrendered to police at the Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and arraigned, according to the release.
