Providence Man Caught With Crack Cocaine: Cops
The Providence man was also driving with an expired license, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was caught with crack cocaine, police said.
Angel Merced, 50, was arrested shortly before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop on Lynwood Avenue in Providence, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Merced was charged with possessing crack cocaine and driving with an expired license, according to the release.

"Merced was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment/presentment as a bail violator at Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
