Roger Williams Park Zoo Announces Winter Events Schedule

PROVIDENCE, RI — Looking for something to get out of the house this winter? Look no further than the Roger Williams Park Zoo.
Zoo officials announced the schedule for winter events this week. Here's what to know:
National Visit the Zoo Day and Food Drive (With Free Admission)

In partnership with Cardis, the Zoo will be free on Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a non-perishable food donation for the RI Food Bank.
Half-Price Winter Wonder Days at Roger Williams Park Zoo

January and February bring the perfect weather to New England for visiting the Zoo and seeing animals outside, enjoying nature's cooler temperatures.
Roger Williams Park Zoo is open Thursday-Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with half-price admission from Jan. 1 to Feb. 28, 2023.
All tickets must be purchased in advance online at rwpzoo.org.
Winter Zoo-Cation Camps: Select School Holidays
A day off from school doesn’t have to mean a day off from learning, exploring, and making friends. These one-day and full-week camps will engage campers in full days of crafts, hands-on and inquiry-driven activities and encounters with wild animal ambassadors.

Winter Animal Encounters
Get in touch with your wild side by joining a zookeeper and an animal companion for a one-of-a-kind experience. Learn about animal's individual personalities, training, and care provided by dedicated keeper and vet teams, as well as what can be done to help support animals like them in the wild.
