TCU Launches The Shoppe at Wright, an Amazon Go Store
Streamlined, technology-driven shopping experience comes to campus

Texas Christian University (TCU) has unveiled The Shoppe at Wright, a new Amazon Go store that brings a streamlined, technology-driven shopping experience to campus. Open since December 2, the store integrates Amazon’s advanced "just walk out" technology with TCU’s existing Get App, allowing students to use their student IDs for seamless entry and checkout. This feature makes shopping faster and easier while maintaining a focus on premium offerings for the campus community.
The Shoppe at Wright enables customers to enter with their ID, select items, and leave without waiting in line. Purchases are tracked automatically, creating an efficient, tech-forward experience tailored to meet the needs of today’s students. The store offers a curated selection of high-end snacks, beverages, and everyday essentials, elevating the on-campus retail experience.
The development of The Shoppe at Wright was led by key members of TCU’s dining and retail team: Scott Majestic, Resident District Manager; Kyle Hollingsworth, General Manager of Retail & Resident Dining; Rick Flores, Retail Director; and Oralis Morales-Perea, Retail Manager. Their collaboration ensured the store reflects both cutting-edge innovation and TCU’s emphasis on quality for students and staff alike.
