“Micronutrient testing analysis, for example, may be quite different for one person than another person,” said O’Rourke. “This is because our micronutrient requirements at age 30 are quite different from our requirements at age 40, 50, and beyond. Absorption difficulties are common as we age.”
O’Rourke says people may think they are eating a balanced diet, but if they do not absorb vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other essential micronutrients well, they will have deficiencies.
