In Toone Communication, a WBE Certified, 100% woman-owned business established in 2004, today announced Sophie Hartstein is named Marketing Liaison.
She will be responsible for public relations, writing, and strategic marketing support for the firm’s local, regional, and national clients.
Hartstein is currently a sophomore student at Emerson College majoring in Writing, Literature and Publishing. She has a passion for writing in all forms and is a copy editor for two publications on campus, Your Magazine and Five Cent Sound.

Outside of writing, Hartstein is the assistant music director for her acapella group, the TrebleMakers, and is currently music directing a student production of Heathers which will debut December 10 and 11.
“I am thrilled for the opportunity to get hands-on experience in this field so early in my career,” said Hartstein.

Originally from Ridgewood, New Jersey, Hartstein currently resides in Boston, Mass.
