Wanted Providence Man Picked Up During Traffic Stop: Police
The Providence man was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Providence man was apprehended during a traffic stop Sunday, police said.
Darin Robinson Silva, 32, was pulled over and arrested on Killingly Street in Providence about 12:30 p.m., the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Silva was arrested on a warrant charging him with license or permit required for carrying a pistol, according to the release.

Silva was charged in connection with a Providence Police Department case, the release said.
"Robinson was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department," the release said.
