Wanted Providence Thief Captured: Cops
The Providence man was located by the Cranston cops, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Providence thief was apprehended Monday, police said.
Rhony Barrias Sanchez, 23, was arrested shortly before 12:30 p.m., the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Sanchez was arrested on a warrant charging him with obtaining property under false pretenses, fraudulent use of credit cards, and receipt of money, goods and services obtained by fraudulent use of credit cards, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of the Cranston Police Department locating (Sanchez) and transferring custody," the release said.
Sanchez was processed at the Rhode Island State Police Scituate Barracks, arraigned and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake pending a morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court, according to the release.
