Wright's Dairy Farm And Bakery To Open New Providence Creamery
The Providence creamery will be the hub for all of Wright's ice cream production, the company announced.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Rhode Island staple is set to open another location in the smallest state's biggest city.
Wright's Dairy Farm and Bakery announced on Monday that Wright's Creamery will open in Providence, serving as the hub for all the company's ice cream production. Not only will it house the production, but the new location will also offer a scoop shop and the opportunity to see the ice cream being made.
Baked goods and dairy products will also be for sale at the creamery, according to the company.

The creamery will open in a space at the Farm Fresh RI building, located at 10 Sims Ave. Though the hours of operations and menu have yet to be determined, the company said that more details are on the way.
The family-owned dairy farm and bakery is located at 200 Woonsocket Hill Rd. in North Smithfield. According to the company, the farm started selling dairy products and baked goods in 1914. Their first retail store was opened in 1970.
