Arianna Huffington Visits Bryant University In Smithfield for Women's Summit

Huffington Post Media Group President Speaks About Changing Gender Roles

 

Arianna Huffington, president & editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, visited Bryant University Thursday for the 16th Annual Bryant University Women’s Summit.

Before addressing a lunchtime crowd at the university's Chace Wellness Center, Huffington met with reporters in the George E. Bello Center to answer a few questions.

Smithfield Patch asked Huffington her opinion on equalizing gender roles, in light of an NPR report on mothers' and fathers' domestic lives. The report showed a trend toward converging of roles in the home.

More than 1,000 people were expected for the sold-out summit, one of the most popular conferences in New England. The day of education and networking is aimed at empowering female professionals.
