Dorothy P. Ferri: Mother, Grandmother

Dorothy P. Ferri (Nocente), 88, of Smithfield, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital, according to Maceroni Funeral Home.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Inez (Melucci) Nocente and the mother of the late Inez “Cookie” Hailey.

She leaves her son, Arthur E. Ferri and daughter Doris A. Guerra; a brother, Eugene Nocente; a sister, Ruby Antonelli and a grandson, Ronald Lapre.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday morning, March 14, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by a Service at 10 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
