Grand Jury Indicts Glocester Man in July Murder

Nicolas Lasorsa faces one count of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Ronald Kopka Jr. in July.

 

The Providence County Grand Jury today reported out a secret indictment charging Nicolas Lasorsa, 23, of 1037 Reynolds Road, Glocester, with one count of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Ronald Kopka Jr., which occurred on July 14, 2012. 

The Glocester Police Department arrested Lasorsa this afternoon. He was presented and arraigned before Superior Court Magistrate Patricia L. Harwood.

Bail was set at $30,000 with surety. The next scheduled court dates are Nov. 9, 2012 for determination of attorney, and Dec. 3, 2012 for a pre-trial conference.

The Valley Breeze reported in July that Kopka, 20, died following a party in Glocester.
