Panera Easter Cookie Sales Benefit Children's Friend

Ten percent of every Easter cookie sold will go directly to the charity.

 

Looking to make a sweet gesture to a local non-profit? 

Eleven Panera Bread/HBG bakery-cafes in Rhode Island, including the one in Smithfield, will be conducting a “Cookies for Kids!” campaign starting Monday, March 18 through Easter Sunday, March 31, when 10 percent of the sales from every freshly-baked Easter cookie sold will go directly to Operation Dough-Nation® partner, Children’s Friend based in Providence.

The egg-shaped shortbread cookies are decorated with yellow icing and topped with milk chocolate candies. 

All of the participating Panera Bread bakery-cafes with locations in Cranston, East Greenwich, Providence, Newport, Smithfield, Wakefield and Warwick, Rhode Island and North Attleborough, North Dartmouth, Plainville and Seekonk, Massachusetts, are owned by the Howley Bread Group, LTD of Cumberland, Rhode Island.
