Paul R. Lawless: RI School of Electronics Graduate, Air Force Veteran
The Greenville resident passed away on Oct. 23, 2012.

Paul R. Lawless, 83, of Breezy Knoll Road, Greenville, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at his home . He was the husband of Alice M. (Thompson) Lawless. They celebrated their 56th anniversary in June.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Jennie (Murphy) Lawless. He lived in Smithfield since 1959 and previously lived in Providence. He was an Air Force veteran.

Mr Lawless graduated from RI School of Electronics in 1964 and then worked for US Rubber, Picker X-Ray and Amprex, Division of N.A. Phillips before retiring. He later worked for the Smithfield School Department. Mr. Lawless was a coach for the Smithfield Little League in the 70’s and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Patricia J. Mitchell of South Kingstown; Paul R. Lawless and his wife, Linda, of Smithfield; Deborah M. Gilbertson and her husband, Matthew, of Lynnfield, MA; Michael T. Lawless and his wife, Charlotte of Smithfield; and eight grandchildren: Paul, Stephen, Julie, Ryan, Chelsea, Matthew, Michaela and Alana, and a great grandson, Jayden.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery.
Visitation Friday 4-7pm.
