Smithfield Police Log: Assault at Gilda's, Break-In on Pleasant View Avenue

Monday, June 3:

- Smithfield Police responded to a call for an assault at Gilda's Lounge, 28 Farnum Pike. A man was transported by rescue to the hospital after being assaulted outside the bar.
Tuesday, June 4:
- Smithfield Police responded to a call for suspicious activity at the intersection of Lincoln Street and High Street. An injured juvenile and a 20-year-old man gave conflicting accounts of an incident that left the juvenile injured on the side of the road.

- Smithfield Police repsonded to a reported break-in on Pleasant View Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
- Smithfield Police responded to Dillon Acoustical Ceiling at 410 Harris Road for a report of a stolen license plate.
