Smithfield man arrested for failing to appear on pot charge

On Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 10:15 p.m. Troopers arrested Cory Quinn, age 24, of 147 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, RI on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Possession of Marijuana originating from the Smithfield Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Spruce Street in the City of Providence. Quinn was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.

North Providence man arrested for Ecstasy possession

 At 2:55 p.m. March 14, Troopers arrested Jesse Daoheuange, age 23, of 256 Woonsqutucket Avenue North Providence, RI for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance (Ecstasy) 2.) Possession of Marijuana 3.) Driving While in Possession of a Controlled Substance 4.) Operating With a Suspended License.

Daoheuange was transported to State Police Headquarters, made an initial appearance before the Bail Commissioner, and released pending future Third District Division Court dates.
