Troopers arrest Greenville man for failing to appear in court on an assault charge.

At approximately 10:40 a.m. on Apr. 8, Troopers arrested Eric Standring, age 33, of 931 Greenville Avenue, Greenville, RI for 1.) Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Simple Assault out of the Smithfield Police Department.
Standring was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and later turned over to Third District Court.
