Town of Smithfield Posts Emergency Info Ahead of Hurricane Sandy

Here's what you need to know if you live in Smithfield.

 

The Town of Smithfield Emergency Management Agency this week issued an online brochure with information and tips on how to prepare for the possible impact of Hurricane Sandy, expected to reach New England early next week.

Included in the brochure are tips on making a disaster plan [including where pets might stay, since they're generally not allowed in public shelters where food is served] and information on how to stay informed during and after the storm.
