Tuesday Five: Swearing In, Add Your Things, Post Your Events

Swearing in - The Smithfield Town Council will meet tonight, 7 p.m., at the Senior Center, 1 Wm P Hawkins Junior Trail, to swear in newly elected members. If you're planning a New Year's resolution regarding keeping better track of local events and politics, this a chance to get a head start. 

While you're at it, check out this list of meetings going on in the town today and see if you might be more interested in the Board of Canvassers or Financial Review.
