2 Cars, Home Catch Fire In Tiverton
When Tiverton firefighters arrived, they found two cars in flames, and the fire beginning to spread to the home.

TIVERTON, RI — Two cars caught fire in Tiverton on Saturday morning, and the flames ended up extending to a nearby home, according to fire officials.
Around 11:45 a.m., firefighters were called to Russell Drive for a report of smoking billowing from a car. When firefighters arrived, they found two cars in flames, and the fire beginning to spread to the home.
Fire officials said the flames were quickly brought under control, preventing any damage to the interior of the home. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Firefighters from Portsmouth and Fall River, Massachusetts, provided mutual aid in battling the flames. The Westport, Massachusetts, Fire Department handled a separate medical call during the incident.
