3 Tiverton Students Among Top 10 In Graduating Class At Bishop Stang

See the students from Tiverton who made the list for Bishop Stang's top 10 graduating seniors and the college they will go to.

TIVERTON, RI — Three students from Tiverton earned a spot on the list of the top 10 Bishop Stang High School graduating senior for academics.

This year's list though included more names than usual. School officials also chose to celebrate the top 10 students who transferred from Bishop. Because of this, for the first time in the Catholic school's history, Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth will have co-valedictorians and co-salutatorians.

The following students from Tiverton made the list for Bishop Stang's top 10 graduating seniors:

Michael Zeller

Zeller ranked No. 3 academically among Bishop Stang students. He will attend the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, this fall. Zeller will major in applied and computational mathematics and statistics.

Cortlyn Elias

Elias ranked No. 5 academically among Bishop Stang students. She will attend Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, this fall. Elias will major in nursing.

Patrick Murray

Murray ranked No. 9 academically among Bishop Stang students. He will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, this fall. Murray will major in engineering.
