​The Boat House Restaurant Hosting Tiverton Police's Annual Toy Drive

The Boat House in Tiverton will once again partner with the Tiverton Police Department to support Operation: Blue Santa, its annual holiday toy drive.\

From 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 10, guests are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift to the Boat House, and in turn enjoy complimentary appetizers and a cash bar with a portion of the proceeds going to the toy drive.

This is the fourth year that Boat House has participated in Operation: Blue Santa, and to date, the event has collected hundreds of toys, including more than $1,200 worth of toys donated by the Boat House, a spokesperson for the Newport Restaurant Group, the Boat House's parent company, said.

The Newport Restaurant Group is also running its annual gift card fundraiser, donating $2 from every gift card order this holiday season to local food banks and area nonprofits committed to building a sustainable and local food supply for those in need.
