Bodies Of 2 MA Fisherman Recovered In Little Compton: Reports
The Massachusetts men had been fishing when they went into the water, numerous media outlets reported.
LITTLE COMPTON, RI — The bodies of two men from Massachusetts were recovered in Little Compton Sunday, multiple media outlets reported.
"Family members have identified the victims as brothers, 27-year-old Aldino A. Centeio and 31-year-old Valdir A. Centeio. They are both from Stoughton," according to WPRI.
WJAR reported the two brothers had been fishing from a rock Saturday and their bodies were located nearby.

"Multiple reliable sources and neighbors told NBC 10 News that officials found the two bodies not far from the rock where the two were fishing Saturday morning," WJAR said.
One brother died trying to save the other's life, according to CBS.

"One of the brothers fell into the water, then the other jumped in to save him, according to police," CBS reported. "A third fisherman also jumped in to save them, but was soon rescued by lifeguards. The third fisherman has not been identified."
The Little Compton Fire Department posted a note for gratitude to the public for its assistance.
"The members of the Little Compton Fire Department would like to the thank the Warren's Point Beach Club for providing sandwiches for our members and mutual aid partners during the marine incident this afternoon," the post said. "We would also like to thank all of our mutual aid partners for assisting us during the search."
