LITTLE COMPTON, RI — Now's your chance to get your COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot in Little Compton. On Wednesday, the Rhode Island Department of Health will sponsor a clinic at Brownell Library.

The clinic will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering Pfizer doses to anyone aged 12 and older.

"We now know that Omicron is the most common variant in the United States, accounting for 73 percent of new COVID cases in the country," Gov. Dan McKee said of this week's community vaccine clinics. "But we have the tools to keep ourselves and our families safe this holiday season. Community based vaccination clinics will continue to be held across Rhode Island to make vaccines as accessible as possible. Getting vaccinated, and getting your booster when you're eligible, is the best way to protect yourselves and your loved ones."
