Dog Adoption Event At Little Compton's Sakonnet Vineyard

LITTLE COMPTON, RI — Lighthouse Animal Shelter is partnering with Sakonnet Vineyard for a dog adoption event.

The event at the Little Compton vineyard was scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Sunday.

"Guests will be able to meet adoptable dogs, learn about the adoption process, and enter to win themed gift baskets," according to a media release. "They’ll also have the chance to enjoy vineyard offerings, including wine by the glass or bottle, tastings, and seasonal dishes from the café."

Attendance is free and reservation are not required, the release said, but adoption fees may vary.
