Holy Ghost Church Announces Holy Day Schedule

Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton has announced its schedule of services for Christmas and New Year’s Day. Both dates are observed by the Catholic Church as Holy Days of Obligation.
Christmas Services
Christmas Eve services will be held on Tuesday, December 24, with a Vigil Mass at 4:00 p.m. The parish choir will begin singing at 11:30 p.m., leading into the traditional Solemn Midnight Mass at 12:00 a.m. on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25.
Additional Christmas Day Masses will be celebrated at 7:30 a.m. (without music) and 9:00 a.m. (with music).
New Year’s Day Services
On Thursday, January 1, 2026, Holy Ghost Church will celebrate Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God. Services will be held at 8:00 a.m. (without music) and 9:30 a.m. (with music).

Adoration Chapel Notice: The Our Lady Queen of Peace Adoration Chapel will maintain regular hours, open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., throughout the Christmas and New Year period. The chapel remains available as a quiet place for prayer and reflection.
