TIVERTON, RI — Are you looking to be a parent volunteer for Tiverton Public Schools in the 2022-23 school year? Make sure you get your background check beforehand.

The school district requires all potential volunteers to get a BCI criminal background check. Tiverton police will offer these tests this month to make the process easier for parents.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Aug. 23, Sgt. LeDuc and Records Clerk Chris Gagner will be at Tiverton High School collecting background check request forms. The checks cost $5, and you must bring your ID.
