How Much Snow Fell In Tiverton, Little Compton: Jan. 7

CRANSTON, RI — The Ocean State saw its first snowfall of 2022 Thursday night into Friday, with residents across the state waking up to a blanket of white and snow falling hard and fast throughout the morning hours. Snow totals varied across the state, with some ares seeing only a few inches, and the northeast corner of the state buried in a foot of accumulation.

Cranston was on the higher end of accumulation, with 7.8 inches recorded by the National Weather Service.
