Little Compton Puts Its Chef Hat on for Community Cook-Off
Do you have what it takes to be chosen as the "Best in Show" at the Community Cook-off?

Find out who cooks the meanest dish in Little Compton next month.
All amateur chefs who think they may have a winning recipe, or beginners who are looking to have some fun are invited to participate.
The contest features categories for chili, chowder, stew and soup recipes.

The Community Cook-off will be held on Saturday, March 7 at Crowthers Restaurant, 40 Pottersville Road.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category as well as the awards for “Best in Show” and “Crowthers Choice.”

The winners will be chosen based on the people’s choice: guests’ vote will determine the winner for best recipe in each category.
The cooking kicks off at 4 p.m.
The event is free and participants can enter more than one recipe.
Those participating are required to provide 2 gallons per entry and serving utensils, a hot plate or crock pot. All recipes must be cooked within the temperature range of 140 to 160 degrees. Bread and crackers are included and the event will provide bowls, spoons, napkins and an outlet.
This event is a fundraiser for the Little Compton Community Center.
To register for the cook-off, send your name, email, phone number and a description of your entry dish to the Community Center by emailing ginamalloy@lccenter.com, mailing submissions to PO Box 926, Little Compton, RI 02837 or calling 401-635-2400.
Remember to list all ingredients to prevent a possible allergic reaction.
