Pickup Truck Catches Fire In Little Compton, Shuts Down Road

LITTLE COMPTON, RI — A pickup truck caught fire in Little Compton on Thursday, forcing emergency officials to temporarily shut down Colebrook Road, according to fire officials

Fire officials said the pickup truck caught fire around the 100th block of Colebrook Road. When firefighters arrived, the truck was already fully engulfed in flames.

Flames from the truck then spread to a small area of brush near the side of the road. Fire officials said they had both fires extinguished quickly.
