Sarah Lavallee, Program Director of Healthy Soils and Seas at Clean Ocean Access, Middletown, RI will talk about a food waste collection program that fosters composting to improve the health of our soil and ocean. Composting programs are becoming more prevalent in schools and daily life. This program will educate and motivate our community to the ecological and financial benefits of composting.
