Tiverton Bank Of Newport Robbed: Police
A bespectacled man in a plaid jacket robbed the Bank of Newport branch on Monday, police said.
TIVERTON, RI—The Bank of Newport branch on Main Road was robbed Monday, Tiverton police said. A suspect was caught on surveillance camera. The man handed a teller a note, which said he had a weapon, police allege. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 401-625-6717.
