Tiverton Man, 28, Seriously Injured In Fatal Fall River Crash
A 35-year-old man from Lakeville, Massachusetts was killed in the crash on Route 24 North.
TIVERTON, RI — A Tiverton man was seriously in a fatal crash on Route 24 North in Fall River Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police said. The driver, a 28-year-old man, was not identified.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at mile marker 0.8. According to police, the victim was driving a 2004 Ford F-250 southbound when he suddenly crossed the median into the northbound lanes, hitting a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the Chevy, a 35-year-old man from Lakeville, Massachusetts, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tiverton man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

A third vehicle, a 2018 GMC Terrain, was also involved in the crash. The driver, a 26-year-old man from Fall River, was not injured and drove away from the scene.
The crash closed the left southbound lane and the right northbound lane for bout two hours.
