Tiverton Police: Tiverton Man Charged With DUI, Allegedly Driving 3 Times Over Legal Limit

21-Year-Old Tiverton Man Charged With Drunken Driving, 3 Times Over Legal Limit
Marc N. Fleming, 21, of 519 Fish Road, Tiverton, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 9 and charged with driving under the influence, first offense. Police stopped Fleming at 12:52 a.m. for driving 69 mph in a 25 mph zone on Stafford Road near the Muddy Moose Restaurant and Pub. During the stop, the officer observed signs of intoxication and asked Fleming to submit to a field sobriety test. He agreed, failed and was taken into custody. After returning to police headquarters, Fleming took a breathalyzer test, registering .234 and .233 - nearly three times the legal limit.Fleming was charged with DUI, and cited for speeding, seat belt and turn signal violations. He was arraigned in district court that morning and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
Tiverton Man Charged With DUI
Jared Neintimp, 31, of 39 Winterberry Drive, Tiverton, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11:30 p.m. on charges of drunken driving and refusal to submit to a chemical test.Police stopped Neintimp's car after seeing his dark-colored pickup truck traveling on Main Road near State Avenue without its headlights on. Police watched as Neintimp turned off of Main Road onto Conanicus Avenue going the wrong way on the one-way street. After initiating a traffic stop, police suspected Neintimp was under the influence of alcohol and asked him to submit to a chemical test. He agreed and failed. He was. taken into custody where he refused a chemical test at headquarters. Neintimp was released by a justice peace on personal recognizance. He was arraigned by a bail commissioner and surety bail was set for $1,000.
Man Arrested In Connection With 2008 Theft
Jason Ferreira, 28, of 45 Lee St., Fall River was turned over to Tiverton Police after he was arrested by in Little Compton on a shoplifting warrant on Nov. 12. Ferreira was wanted based on a 2008 charge where he allegedly stole more than $150 in electric razors from the Rite Aid on Main Road in Tiverton.He was arraigned by a bail commissioner and surety bail was set for $1000.
