Tiverton Shooting: Witnesses
A shooting around midnight Thursday morning sent one person to Rhode Island Hospital, according to news sources.
TIVERTON, RI—A report came over the scanner around midnight Thursday saying medics were taking a gunshot victim to Rhode Island Hospital. Patch is calling police for information. On Thursday morning, a dispatch officer said the department will issue a press release later in the day, but no one was available to speak to media.

The Providence Journal on Thursday morning reported the police responded for a domestic violence complaint and shot an armed man. The victim is in intensive care. Click here for the Journal's story.
