When Your Christmas Tree Will Be Picked Up

Where and when Tiverton employees will pick up your curbside tree.

The Tiverton Public Works Department will collect Christmas trees curbside during the second and third week of January, weather permitting.

Tiverton residents are asked to place their discarded Christmas trees curbside, adjacent to their trash, on the same day as the normal trash collection. The trees must not be in any form of plastic bag, and should be reasonably free of tinsel and decorations.

The Christmas trees will be mulched by a chipper as collected. The resultant mulch will be made available free to Tiverton residents at the entrance to the landfill, during normal operating hours.
