Car Slams Into West Warwick Home With Hair Salon Inside: Reports

WEST WARWICK, RI — Police are investigating after a car slammed into a West Warwick home that doubles as a hair salon Wednesday morning, according to multiple reports.

The crash occurred at 8:45 a.m. at the corner of Cowesett Avenue and Lockwood Street, when they found the car inside the front-left side of the home, WPRI reported.

The driver was an 80-year-old woman who only suffered minor injuries, according to the outlet, which spoke with the woman's daughter.

The woman exited a car wash across the street before the crach, NBC10 reported.
