Cumberland Man Wanted For Assaulting Person Over 60 Captured: Cops
The Cumberland man was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.
WEST WARWICK, RI — A Cumberland man wanted for assaulting someone older than 60 was apprehended Monday afternoon, police said.
Gregory Connors-Smith, 34, was arrested during a 2 p.m. traffic stop on Providence Street in West Warwick, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Connors-Smith was wanted on a warrant charging him with assault on a person over 60, the release said.

Connors-Smith was charged in connection with a case in Woonsocket, according to the release.
"Connors-Smith was processed at the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department," the release said.
