9-Year-Old Hit By Car In Woonsocket, Sent To Hospital
The boy was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence. Woonsocket police say the boy's leg may have been broken.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A 9-year-old boy was hit by a car while he was riding his bike in Woonsocket on Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Police said the crash happened around 4:59 p.m. in the area of Hope and West streets. The boy was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence. Police said the boy's leg may have been broken.
According to police, the drive stayed on scene and cooperated with officers. Police said no charges were filed.
